Hands-Free Videophone for futuristic glasses-type HMD devices from NTT Docomo

We are going see the new era of videophone which developed by Japanese largest mobile service provider NTT Docomo .it’s hands free glasses -type HMD device.

It is pre-rendered 3D model of video communication .Model is created by the three cameras by combining and the video sent another person .each camera has 720p resolution, and fish eye-lens .even we are capturing the video in best resolution what we have today is not enough to handle mouth and upper parts of the picture so those are created on CG.

Orientation of face is getting by the six-axis sensors data, and voice by analyzing audio data from microphone, and they capture real background of the person by having a camera on backside to create quite realistic appearance.

They haven’t bulit in HMD yet .they would like to do future for creating better face -to–face dialog anywhere, even in outdoor.
